Origin Trail Company (“OTC”) is an Australian direct-from-farmer grain origination enterprise. OTC originates grain direct from farmers according to the specifications of quality, quantity and delivery required by our clients. Our delivered grains and seeds can be accompanied with the analytics and reporting that may be required in today’s corporate environment.
OTC’s customers are grain, oilseed and legume processors and consumers that demand transparency regarding where their grain comes from and how it is produced. Our farmer partners have world class on-farm storage and handling facilities, providing our customers with confidence in respect to product quality, traceability and supply chain control. Working with high quality farmers enables OTC to provide our customers with a premium product and service.
OTC encourages and facilitates direct relationships between the farmer and the end-customer to support improved production knowledge and market demand responses. We arrange farm visits to give our customers a greater understanding of farmer partner operations and develop that crucial producer and consumer relationship that sets the foundation for long term business.

- We curate grain supply to ensure all grain is produced by sustainably certified farmers if required by our customers. OTC is able to provide a certified (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification through Sustainable Grain Australia) sustainably produced overlay for grain customers for wheat, barley and canola.
- We manage the supply chain, administration and documentation for the supply of grain products from the farmer to the customer (for domestic and export sales). We can couple this with independent index pricing structures for buyers and sellers to support long term and transparent commercial relationships.
- Our detailed reporting provides in depth information on crop husbandry practices, providing industry leading transparency on crop production from pre-production to final delivery. We are able to originate from specific farmers and regions in order to satisfy specific provenance requirements for customers also.
